About the Course
Current Updates in Nephrology provides a comprehensive, clinically focused review of the most important advances affecting the diagnosis and management of kidney disease.
Designed for practicing clinicians, the course brings together leading faculty to examine evolving evidence, emerging therapies, new diagnostic approaches, and challenging clinical decisions across the major areas of nephrology. Sessions emphasize practical interpretation of the latest data, real-world cases, and management strategies that can be applied in everyday practice.
The 2027 program has been substantially refreshed, with more focused presentations, greater use of case-based learning, and increased opportunities for interaction with faculty.
A Note from the Course Directors
Nephrology continues to change rapidly. New therapies, diagnostic tools, and emerging evidence are reshaping how we evaluate and manage patients with kidney disease.
For 2027, we have substantially refreshed Current Updates in Nephrology with one goal in mind: to make this longstanding course even more useful to clinicians in everyday practice.
Along with comprehensive updates across the major areas of nephrology, this year’s program places greater emphasis on focused presentations, real clinical cases, participant-submitted questions, and interactive discussions with faculty.
Our goal is for you to leave not only knowing what is new, but with a clearer understanding of how the latest evidence may influence the decisions you make for your patients.

Registered participants are invited to submit a de-identified clinical case for consideration. Selected cases may be incorporated into faculty discussions during the live program to explore diagnostic challenges, treatment options and real-world clinical decision-making.
Please do not include patient names or other identifying information. All submitted cases must be fully de-identified.
